The world’s largest, independent aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider, ST Aerospace offers you airline services – a suite of value added services integrating engineering, maintenance and information technology.

As the industry demands a strategic refocus on airline operations and core business elements, non-core functions are outsourced to highly specialised and cost effective engineering and maintenance service providers.

Our airline services are crafted to suit your operational needs. We have specifically designed solutions to ensure that your fleet maintains regulatory compliance and operational integrity. Ensuring your fleet’s continued airworthiness, we offer you a peace of mind and free up your resources to focus on the actual business of running your airline.

With a strong track record of providing a wide range of services for a global customer base, ST Aerospace counts among our customers many major airlines, air freight operators and low cost carriers around the world. More than MRO services, ST Aerospace constantly innovates to provide value added services for customers.

Key components of airline services

Maintenance Operations Control (MOC)

Our MOC operates on a 24/7 basis, providing a dispatch ready operation for airline customers and acts as a focal point for communication between the various engineering and maintenance elements of the airline and their contracted service providers. We ensure all required maintenance is performed within approved time limits and that appropriate authorisation is obtained for extensions.

Our team of experienced controllers provides technical support for all aircraft systems, including Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) advice, troubleshooting assistance, defect analysis and interpretation of technical manuals.

MOC - A focal point of communications

We also extend this support to assist flight crews during flight and at non maintenance stations, offering troubleshooting advice. We communicate to fl ight crews via Very High Frequency (VHF)-radio or Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS), assisting them with technical and operational recommendations.

With the ability to provide the authorisation to dispatch aircraft under minimum equipment list (MEL)/configuration deviation list (CDL) when required, we plan and perform defect rectifications without disrupting aircraft operations while maintaining your fl ight schedule. Our people, processes and systems work together seamlessly and are committed to maximising the airlines’ on-time performance.

Fleet Technical Management (FTM)

Our FTM provides airlines with a well established framework and rigorous system to manage and comply with the technical, operational and regulatory requirements of an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) holder.

Our FTM includes:

  • Maintenance Engineering
    • Aircraft maintenance schedule
    • Technical directive evaluation
    • Configuration control
  • Reliability Engineering
    • Aircraft, component and systems (by Air Transport Association Chapter)
  • Aircraft Engineering
    • Repair schemes, special maintenance and inspection instructions, modification design, troubleshooting support and liaison engineering*
*ST Aerospace holds both EASA 21 & SAR 21 approvals
